Vitor Gama Lemos is Data Scientist at Cyberlabs, where he develops research projects in Artificial Intelligence applied to Cybersecurity. He graduated in Technology in Computing Systems from Universidade Federal Fluminense, presenting his final paper entitled Artificial Neural Networks Applied to Pattern Recognition in 2017. He received his master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, defending his master's thesis titled ProspectiveProv: Prospective provenance of script experiments in 2021.
He has a specialization in Statistics at Universidade Norte do Paraná (UNOPAR) in 2022. Currently, He is studying for a postgraduate degree in Information Security (MBA) and a postgraduate degree in Privacy and Protection of Personal Data at Descomplica, in Brazil, from 2022 to 2023.
Vitor Gama Lemos also serves as a NASA citizen scientist in several projects, such as The Sungrazer Project and International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC). The Sungrazer Project is a NASA-funded program in collaboration with the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory that enables the discovery and reporting of previously unknown comets in the ESA/NASA SOHO and NASA STEREO satellite instrument fields of view. Vitor Lemos has important discoveries together with IASC/NASA program as Asteroid Hunter and Comet Hunter, such as the possible asteroids initially identified as P21uZz3 (2022), P21uUo8 (2022), P21v19O (2022), P21wcXn (2022) and P21wEwU (2022). His main professional and academic experiences include Deep Learning, Statistics, Natural Language Processing, Neural Networks, Big Data, Malware Analysis, Evasion Techniques, Data Science and Computer Vision.
